Upcoming Audition

Vitacca Vocational School for Dance Pre-Professional Programs are for gifted dancers focused in classical and contemporary training. Dancers ages 11–18 may audition by video or attend the onsite audition class on August 14. Please note, for either format, there is a non-refundable $40 audition fee.

This audition will be hosted at our Houston school, but dancers may audition for programs from either location.

AUDITION TIMES

10:30–11:30 (ages 11–12)
11:30–12:45 (ages 13+)

VIDEO AUDITIONS ACCEPTED:
DUE BY AUGUST 14

VIDEO MUST INCLUDE:

• Dancer introduction with full name and program in which they are auditioning for

• Four to five barre exercises (one side)

• Center adagio including développé a la seconde on both right and left and en dehors pirouette

• Pointe work for ladies 13+

• Center contemporary phrasing
